GOLDEN WEST EMPLOYMENT SOLUTIONS OPENS NEW LONGREACH OFFICE!

On Tuesday, 28th April 2009, Golden West Employment Solutions officially opened their new office at shop 14 and 15 Merino Arcade, 118A Eagle Street, Longreach.
The opening was well attended by local businesses and was officially opened by the Hon. Vaughan Johnson, Member for Gregory and Cr. John Palmer, Mayor of Longreach Regional Council.
Both the Hon. Vaughan Johnson and Cr. John Palmer commended Golden West on their commitment and dedication to rural training, the Hon. Vaughan Johnson said “Golden West’s dedication to minimising the current skills shortage is evident through the community work they do. The purchase of this office will also ensure rural communities have access to the necessary information on apprenticeships and traineeships.”
Dave Mitchell, Executive Officer from GTAQNT also attended the function. Dave was thrilled to see the large number of business people attending the function, “Golden West opening a new office in Longreach enhances the opportunity for young people to gain apprenticeships and traineeships in rural Queensland.”
Golden West Employment Solutions, CEO Mr Bob Fulton said “Opening our new office in Longreach will now give us a permanent base to service this regional area. Golden West services a large number of communities in this area, which extends from Longreach, Ilfracombe, Isisford, Barcaldine, Aramac, Blackall, Muttaburra, Jundah, Stonehenge, Winton, Boulia, Bedourie, Birdsville, and Windorah and Cloncurry. We are happy to have a prominent office in the heart of Longreach CBD and look forward to working with the Longreach and regional communities.”
