LUKE IS CLICKING HIS WAY TO A BRIGHTER FUTURE!!

It started with the click of a keyboard, and that’s all one young man needed to realise his long term career was in IT. Luke Hamdorf, is stepping into an innovative trade as a school based Information Technology trainee, employed by Golden West Employment Solutions.
Luke is currently completing his traineeship, with Golden West Employment Solutions Roma. “Information Technology is a very broad qualification and once completed I will be able to work in a range of industries” Luke realised that his traineeship was innovative and believes that IT is the way of the future. Luke is also excited to be a part of something so new and exciting. “The IT industry is becoming and industry on demand and I am very excited to be apart of it.”
Training and Employment Coordinator Darren Hooper believes that taking on a trainee is beneficial to Golden West as they can be shown and skilled to your business and environment. “Employing an apprentice or trainee brings new people through the workplace.” Darren said. “Luke has shown dedication to his traineeship through completing his modules in a short space of time. Luke has also assisted in the design of the Commerce Roma website.” Darren believes that going through Group Training Organisation such as Golden West Employment Solutions, provides extra support to the apprentice or trainee. “Golden West takes the load of the host employer and works together with the host to see the apprentice or trainee through the term of the qualification.”
Luke also believes Golden West Employment Solutions offers extra support through out the qualification. “Going through Golden West for my traineeship I have the support of a third party. My Training and Employment Coordinator is always there to offer advice and support when I need it.”
Innovative apprenticeship and traineeships are on the rise, local Group Training Company; Golden West Employment Solutions has noticed an increase in the number of apprentices undertaking innovative trade training, such as Information Technology and Aviation apprenticeships and traineeships. Bob Fulton, CEO of Golden West Employment Solutions said “We have seen a significant change from traditional apprenticeships such as carpentry and electrical to more new age apprenticeships such as aviation.” Golden West Employment Solutions supports this trend and believes that it is important for people to pursue the career path of their choice.
