GOLDEN WEST EMPLOYMENT SOLUTIONS WINS QUEENSLAND BUSINESS AND EMPLOYMENT AWARD FOR 2009

Golden West Employment Solutions’ dedication to rural training was recognised on Saturday, 24th October 2009, when they won the Queensland Business and Employment Award at the Queensland Regional Achievement and Community Awards Gala Presentation Night.
The gala event was held at Maroochydore and was well attended by Government Ministers, Councillors, Community Groups and Business Leaders.
The Award was presented to Kevin Flett, Business Development Manager for Golden West, Mr Flett acknowledged the dedication Golden West has given to rural communities for over 21 years and remarked “With over 350 nominations across seven categories it was great to see Golden West receive recognition for all the work we have put into our local communities.”
As the winner of the Business and Employment category sponsored by the Salvation Army Employment Plus, Golden West won a television airtime package comprising 20 x 30 second bonus airtime commercials on the WIN Television. The Business & Employment Award acknowledges and highlights the continued success and achievements of businesses that are creating job opportunities within their communities and offering job placement to those most affected by unemployment. This award for Golden West acknowledges their cooperative work with local rural communities.
